Last Rose of Summer II
£180.00
Designed to evoke memories of wandering the garden and clutching the precious final blooms before frosts arrive, the Last Rose of Summer collection sees a single faded cabbage rose surrounded with a warming medley of flowers, fruits and foliage. All arrangements are presented in beautiful vintage Mason vases in the seasonally appropriate ‘Fruit Basket’ design. Mellow and fruitful.
A mid-sized arrangement, this centrepiece encapsulates autumn. It is approximately 55cm tall and 75cm wide, celebrating the drape of the beautiful red ‘Tea Viburnum’ berries. The eponymous Last Rose of Summer and elegant Tea Viburnum are nestled amongst physalis (‘Chinese Lantern’ or ‘Cape Gooseberry’), dahlias, zinnias, tiny chrysanthemums, nigella (‘Love in the Mist’), fireball lilies, ranunculus, eryngiums (‘Sea Holly’) and a delightful trio of pomegranates. The large, single ‘café au lait’ dahlia captures the eye and the vintage Mason vase is in excellent condition.
